2016 SSAA Convention & Trade Show

The SSAA 2016 Melbourne Convention held at the Park Hyatt was a great opportunity to meet fellow SSAA members, attend informative speaker sessions and attend the trade stands of our service members.

Additional activities were held throughout the event including Tradeshow in the Spotlight, Facility tours and the famous Gala Awards Night.  A special congratulation to those who qualified as a finalist and to the winners of this event which recognises those who strive for excellence.

The SSAA would thank every delegate and Service member who took part in this event, helping it become one of the best conferences yet.

Photographs, copies of the presentations and overview videos are now available on our website: CLICK HERE.

Increasing Fees

There are numerous factors that facilities must ensure they get right, both at sign-up and during the life of the agreement, if they hope to increase fees legally.  We all know that many storers stay with us for long periods of time — usually much longer than the storer initially anticipated. It would be financially unviable for a facility to leave the rate the storer pays for their space at the same level for the whole of a lengthy storage relationship. But is it legal for a facility to increase the fee the storer is paying, and how can they do it?
