I am the more ‘mature’ one of the dynamic group at the SSAA but very young at heart starting at the SSAA in August 2014. They call me the incredible JJ!

I started working many years ago in administration in some fabulous jobs including 6 years for an interior designer in Carlton in accounts. I then became Reception/Admin/PA for the Director of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in East Melbourne for 5 years. These two jobs were part time while my children were still at school.

When my children finally grew up I worked for 15 years as a Valuations Secretary for 3 prestigious Real Estate companies in the Melbourne CBD (Collins Street actually which I loved to shop in my lunch breaks, you can do a lot of damage on the credit card in 1 hour!).

After travelling into the city on public transport which I was not enjoying I decided to leave. I left my job and did a Mediterranean cruise where I fell in love with Pinot Grigio.

On my return I had the offer to work at the SSAA which I have thoroughly enjoyed. The job has presented many challenges over a short time but I am still there!!

I have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and the most wonderful husband (46 great years). My passion is travelling and I have been very lucky to have travelled to many countries over the past 15 years including 3 cruises and a river cruise.

I also enjoy looking after my home and love going out for a Sunday lunch and even better love going away for the weekend to B&B’s.

I have recently gone part time at work which I am thoroughly enjoying to have more time to do all the things I love.
