Legal Training

The SSAA believes that legal training is essential for anyone working in self storage from casual retail staff right up to managers and owners. It covers everything in regards to the standard contracts, Manual of Advice and Procedures (MAP) and the legal relationship you have with your Storers, and ensures that you don't expose yourself to liability unnecessarily. The course is delivered by Simone Hill in Australia and Jackson Russell Lawyers in New Zealand. The course was designed by Simone Hill, who has been involved in the self storage industry for 20 years, and has drafted all of the standard agreements and legal manuals that the Association uses.
